Despite the God given abundant talent and genius we have as Individuals, as far as the handling of our own health care goes, collectively we the Americans have behaved very passively and failed miserably to protect our interests. When we go to a grocery store or a department store we look at each item several times, touch it, feel it, and may still not buy it. Instead we may go to another store or online to check prices and compare them to find the best deal. Does anybody buy a car nowadays without checking KBB or CAR.COM? Why, then when it comes to our own health care do we act like inert objects (like a football in a ball game) and let others kick us any way they want to?
