We suggest that every American should take pledge that in the next few days you will go and ask your doctor about the cost structure in healthcare. Ask him/her that out of each one hundred dollar you have to pay for your health care, how much is actually the doctor’s fee or true medical cost. You will be astounded to know that only $40 to $60 is the actual medical cost. So who gets the rest?

Just like the ‘economy stupid’ the answer is the ‘overhead stupid’.

Ask your doctor this next question. What would it cost for him to provide you same treatment if there was no third party involved between you and him/her? You will once again be shocked to know that answer would be about $50 to $60. So basically every time we are sick the system that forces us to pay 40% more is raping us. Who is responsible for this system?

It is the ‘Government Stupid’ and sadly enough AMA and most insurances companies are equally to blame for joining the gravy train that has been robbing the life and blood out of us Americans.

None of this so-called overhead cost existed prior to Medicare era. The doctor’s offices and hospitals used to be places where you smell medicine and see doctors and lots of nurses and other medical personnel taking care of patients. Now you see lot more clerical people with clipboards while nurses and doctors are buried under mountains of paperwork and other redundant tasks leading to huge unnecessary cost. This system has also resulted in serious diversion of doctor and nursing time from actual patient care to frivolous paperwork.

This so called overhead is the tremendous amount of excess cost that feeds huge bureaucracy and many layers of interest groups that are not wanting to let it go and will fight tooth and nail to maintain it so they can keep profiting from it. This is the money out of your pocket that is not spent for the treatment of your sore throat or pneumonia or heart surgery but is simply wasted to fulfill regulations imposed on the medical professionals by the ‘system’. Your doctor will tell you that these massive burdens of regulations are actually hurting your care by distracting doctors and nurses away from patients while they are being forced to comply with unproductive paperwork. This is nothing but a form of bureaucratic terrorism sponsored by our own elected representatives.

Our nation will commit economic suicide if we the people fall for similar scheme being presented to us by clueless politicians with a partisan agenda who are trying to make us believe that the very same people responsible for creating this mess will solve it by ‘more of the same’.

The answer is clear. We need to simplify the system with patient controlled electronic records, easy and transparent payment system, cost control exclusively by patient and doctor with decisions supported by evidence-based science only and without any third party influence. Via this mechanism we can free up at least 30% of the entire healthcare expenditure, which will go directly back to the free market rather than in the hands of corrupt Government and fat cats that rely on bigger Government programs.

Hundreds of billions of dollars thus saved will infuse much needed capital back into the free market. With already existing infrastructure consisting of most advanced hospitals and state of the art diagnostic centers across all over the nation, this new money will create an unprecedented boom in the healthcare industry bringing patients from all over the globe to America for the best treatment they can get at the best price anywhere in the world.

This is what America’s Genius is about and now it is in the hands of the people to let it shine or get choked by the Government. Code blue is called and team America needs to take over the control. Nation is counting on you ‘The Genius Patient”.
